Frequently asked
questions

Everything you need to know about Armaria.

Who is Armaria for?

Armaria is designed for scout troops, youth groups, clubs, and community organizations that need to track shared equipment. If you have tents, camping gear, tools, uniforms, or other items that multiple people use, Armaria is for you.

What does Armaria actually do?

Armaria helps you track your group's inventory in one place. You can mark items as working, broken, or needing repair. Track who has what and when it's due back. Create lists of items that need replacing. Generate reports for committee meetings or insurance purposes.

What's with the name?

An "armarium" is a Latin word meaning a chest, cabinet, or place for storing equipment and tools—like what Roman soldiers used to store their arms and armor. We thought it was fitting for a tool that helps groups organize their gear.

Can multiple people use it?

Yes! During the beta, you can invite other leaders and volunteers from your group to help manage the inventory. Perfect for troops with multiple adult volunteers or groups that share equipment.

How much does it cost?

Armaria is completely free during the private beta. We're still figuring out pricing for the future, but our goal is to keep it affordable for community groups and volunteers.
